Diverticulosis: What's the Difference Between Right and Left?

An interesting find was that all bleeding cases happened on the right side. And while surgery was needed for some patients, it was more common for those with left-sided issues.
So, what does this all mean? Well, it seems that right-sided diverticulosis might be less aggressive but more prone to bleeding. Maybe there are different factors at play that cause and develop these issues on the right and left sides of the colon.
