The companies don't want happier employees for the sake of it. They want to save money. But what is the measure of the value of these programs? They can't find the answer. It is still a big puzzle and a confusing topic for most.
On the other hand, there is no denying that employees enjoy these programs. It is a win for them. They get to use less sick days and get a little bit healthier. But what about the companies? This is the big question.
It's confusing. Companies are spending a lot. They want to save money. But will they? We just don't know.
