Drone Attacks Hit Russia’s Explosive Factories: Ukraine’s Strike and Russia’s Response

Meanwhile, Russia launched multi-wave air attacks on the northeastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv. These attacks injured several people and damaged residential buildings. The city’s mayor, Ihor Terekhov, reported that two people were hospitalized after precision-guided bombs hit the city on Sunday night. Later, four more people were injured in further attacks, according to the regional governor, Oleh Syniehubov.
Britain has been a significant ally for Ukraine, supplying various weapons from anti-tank weapons to Challenger II tanks and long-range Storm Shadow missiles. Politicians in the UK have shown strong support for Ukraine, with shadow foreign secretary Andrew Mitchell recently visiting Kyiv to meet with senior Ukrainian officials and reaffirm the UK’s commitment. Mitchell emphasized that all parties in the UK parliament stand firmly with Ukraine, seeing their fight as their own.
On the ground, Russian forces are making slow progress in the eastern Donbas region but are reportedly suffering heavy losses.
