Imagine a world where robots outnumber humans. That's what Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, thinks might happen in as little as 20 years. Speaking at an event in Saudi Arabia, he said humanoid robots could reach 10 billion globally by 2040. That's a lot of robots! Tesla's own robot, Optimus, could cost between $20, 000 to $30, 000 each. It's not just Tesla, though. Many other companies are working on similar technology. We've seen Optimus robots in action, doing things like handing out drinks and playing games. But, they're still a work in progress. Tesla admits they needed some help to make the robots look impressive. Clearly, there's still a way to go before we see 10 billion robots roaming the Earth. Elon Musk thinks Optimus could be a game-changer for Tesla, maybe even making it a $25 trillion company. But, is that realistic? Time will tell. One thing's for sure, the future of robots is exciting and a bit scary!
