The goal is to encourage support for the First and Second Amendments. Registered voters in key swing states can sign a petition to win big bucks every day until the November 5 election. Mark Cuban, the tech billionaire and reality TV star, isn't so sure about the legality of this move. He took to X to express his worries, suggesting that Musk's contest might break gaming laws in Pennsylvania.

"While it may or may not violate voting laws, it might break gambling rules, " Cuban wrote, tagging Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro. The legalities are indeed murky. Experts like campaign finance lawyer Brendan Fischer think that requiring voter registration for prize eligibility could push the limit. On the other hand, some lawyers say it's fine if Musk follows applicable laws.
