Elon Musk's X Gets Back Entertainment Giants' Ad Money

Remember when big entertainment companies like Disney, Comcast, and Warner Bros. Discovery stopped advertising on Elon Musk's X platform last year? Well, they're back! These giants have reportedly spent around $3. 3 million on X ads this year, even though it's way less than the $170 million they spent in 2023. Comcast led the pack with nearly $1. 5 million, while Disney spent less than $550, 000. Last year, Musk got into trouble for supporting an antisemitic post. This caused many brands, including Disney, to pause their ads. X faced potential losses of $75 million in ad revenue. But now, it seems like these companies are giving X another chance.

Musk seems happy about this. He even thanked the brands and gave a special shout-out to Linda Yaccarino, X's CEO. Disney said they resumed some ads over the summer, and Warner Bros. Discovery said some of their businesses are advertising on X. However, they both denied that their decision was tied to Trump's win. It's interesting to see how these companies have changed their minds about X. It makes you wonder if Musk's platform has made improvements or if the companies just can't resist the potential reach of X.
