Equal Rights Amendment: A Step Forward

On January 27, 2020, Virginia, the 38th state, ratified the ERA. This means that three-fourths of the states have now approved it, which is what's needed to amend the Constitution. The American Bar Association and constitutional experts agree that the ERA is now part of our Constitution as the 28th Amendment. It's high time we acknowledge what the majority of Americans want. As President, Biden has a duty to uphold the Constitution. He believes, and rightly so, that the ERA is now law, guaranteeing equal rights to all Americans regardless of their sex.

It's important to remember that the ERA isn't just about women's rights; it's about equality for everyone. It ensures that laws can't treat people differently based on their sex.
