With maximum sustained winds of 80 mph and a central pressure of 988, Oscar is a force to reckon with. The storm has set off hurricane warnings for the Turks and Caicos Islands and the Southeast Bahamas. Forecasters predict Oscar to bump into Cuba's northeastern coast tonight as a Category 1 hurricane. Florida, on the other hand, is expected to escape unscathed due to a high-pressure system shielding the state from tropical disturbances until the end of the month.

But Florida isn't out of the woods just yet. It's still reeling from the back-to-back hits of Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton in recent weeks. The recovery efforts are ongoing, with significant damage visible in areas like Orange City. Chopper 2 captured the scene, showing the extent of Milton's wrath, including burning power lines, flooded streets, and toppled trees in Central Florida.
