The defense team has been fighting to keep certain evidence out of the trial, including the testimony about the bushy eyebrows. The witness in question is a former roommate of the victims. She claims to have seen someone with bushy eyebrows wearing black clothing and a ski mask inside the home before the murders. However, she was intoxicated at the time and could not recall other facial details. The defense argues that her testimony is unreliable and could prejudice the jury.

The judge, however, ruled that the testimony can be used during the trial. He stated that the defense can challenge the witness's credibility through cross-examination.
