Fake Nursing Scam: Woman's Botox Fraud Uncovered
MASSACHUSETTS, USAMonday, November 4, 2024
Fadanelli's scam started in March 2021. She carried out around 1, 631 Botox appointments, making over $522, 000, and about 1, 085 filler appointments, earning close to $410, 000. She's facing serious charges for illegally importing these drugs and selling counterfeit products.
When questioned, Fadanelli denied being a nurse and said she didn't administer injections. But the evidence seems to show otherwise. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention warned about fake Botox last June. Cases in several states, including California and Florida, led to health issues like blurred vision and breathing problems.
