The study showed that farmers who think GM crops can help them adapt to the market on their own are more likely to join. But their willingness to join also depends on how risky they think GM crops are. Surprisingly, things like age, education, and farming experience didn't make much of a difference. This study can help policymakers understand what farmers really need and make better plans for GM crops.
