FBI Chief Wray Braces for Possible Trump Replacement
Washington DC, USATuesday, November 12, 2024
Trump has criticized Wray but has been harsher on other Justice Department officials. Wray loves his job and wants to serve as long as he upholds the rules. In July, Trump demanded Wray's resignation after a misunderstanding about Trump's ear injury. Trump accepted Wray's apology later. With Republicans holding the Senate majority, Trump could install a new FBI director.
Patel, a former Department of Defense official, has called for a major clean-up at the Justice Department and FBI. He wants to prosecute those who misused power for political gains.
