To assess the impact of their food delivery service, the hospital analyzed survey data from patients between 2020 and 2024. The survey focused on food insecurity, revealing that 15.6% of their patients struggled with this issue—higher than the national average of 12.8%.

Targeting High-Risk Areas

The hospital mapped the locations of their food deliveries and discovered that 122 out of 156 areas receiving food were classified as high-risk for food insecurity. This indicates that the program is effectively reaching the communities most in need.

Supporting Vulnerable Individuals

Over 70% of crime victims who received food were themselves food insecure. This highlights the program's dual benefit: supporting both communities and high-risk individuals.
