Menopause is a challenging phase for many women, marked by a variety of symptoms. Each group received a different type of Cheonggukjang: high-beneficial-microorganism content (HTC), low-beneficial-microorganism content (LTC), and commercially available (CC). The participants consumed 3. 3 grams of Cheonggukjang tablets daily for 8 weeks.

        The study tracked menopausal symptoms using the Kupperman index, metabolic parameters, and changes in the gut microbiome through stool analysis. However, there were no significant changes in body mass index, weight, or lipid profiles across the groups.
