Fifty Monkeys on the Run in South Carolina

Imagine this: a research facility dedicated to studying monkeys, and suddenly, a group of about 50 monkeys from Alpha Genesis in Yemassee, South Carolina, makes a great escape! This isn't a scene from a movie; it really happened last Wednesday night. The facility, called Alpha Genesis, works with monkeys to test treatments for brain diseases and other conditions. Authorities are on the lookout with traps and thermal imaging cameras to catch these little escape artists. The exact species of monkeys isn't clear, but Macaques and Capuchins are known to hang out at Alpha Genesis.
