The flag at former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago club in Florida is causing a stir. It was supposed to stay at half-staff until the end of January, honoring former President Jimmy Carter who passed away on December 29. But recently, the flag has been raised to full height. Both President Joe Biden and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis had ordered flags to remain at half-staff until January 28. Trump has been vocal about his displeasure with flags being at half-staff on his inauguration day.

He has criticized Carter in the past, but also praised him after his death. Trump paid his respects at Carter's funeral. A spokesperson for Trump didn't respond to requests for comment. Meanwhile, Texas Governor Greg Abbott ordered flags at state buildings to fly at full-staff on Inauguration Day, saying it's important to celebrate the incoming president.
