Honeywell, a major U. S. industrial company, is splitting into three separate companies. This move is meant to make the companies more flexible and better able to adapt to changes in the market. The new companies will focus on automation, aerospace, and materials. This decision follows similar moves by other large companies like General Electric and Alcoa.
