Football Legend Tom Brady Joins Las Vegas Raiders as Minority Owner

Tom Brady, the legendary NFL quarterback, has taken on a new role in the league. He's now a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. On Tuesday, NFL team owners unanimously approved his purchase during their annual fall meeting. Brady is excited about the opportunity and wants to contribute to the team's success. He's thankful for the support from Raiders majority owner Mark Davis and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. Brady won't be returning to the field anytime soon. He retired after 23 seasons with the Patriots and Buccaneers. But he's eager to help the Raiders find and train future quarterbacks. The deal took 17 months to close due to concerns about the terms and Brady's broadcasting job with Fox.

To ensure there are no conflicts of interest, the NFL has set some rules. Brady can't attend team meetings or have access to players and coaches. He can still broadcast Raiders games and must follow league rules about criticizing officials. Another football great, Richard Seymour, also received approval to buy a minority stake in the Raiders. Both Brady and Seymour are excited about their new roles and the responsibilities that come with them. The Raiders haven't won a Super Bowl since 1983. They've moved from Oakland to Los Angeles and now to Las Vegas. Hopefully, with Brady and Seymour on board, they can turn things around.
