Former Bolivian Leader Evo Morales Claims Car Attacked

In a surprising turn of events, Evo Morales, the former president of Bolivia, took to social media to share a video showing his car had been shot at. The video, posted on Facebook, depicted Morales in the front passenger seat with two bullet holes visible in the windshield. The driver seemed injured. Morales blamed the current government for the incident, heightening political tensions between him and President Luis Arce. Morales claimed that two vehicles intercepted his car and opened fire, with one bullet narrowly missing his head. He wasn't sure if the attackers were police or soldiers. Deputy security minister Roberto Ríos assured the public that no police operation was conducted against Morales, promising an investigation into the matter.

The government has accused Morales of causing chaos by organizing road blockades that have disrupted food and fuel supplies.
