Fortnite Drops Vinicius Jr Skins Before World Cup

Fortnite is getting ready for the 2026 World Cup. The game plans to sell two new skins featuring Brazilian star Vinicius Jr. The announcement came on the game’s YouTube channel. A short clip showed the player in two outfits: one in a classic Brazilian jersey, the other in a sleek black suit. Along with the skins, players can buy matching back blings, pickaxes, an emote and a spray. The exact price in V‑Bucks will be revealed when the shop opens.

The skins will appear in the Item Shop on Wednesday, June 10 at 8 pm ET. They are timed to launch just before the tournament starts on June 11 in North America. Fortnite has teamed up with famous athletes before, but usually they create generic characters. This time Vinicius Jr. is a real player in the game. Other big names like Messi and Ronaldo are also expected to join the event, though details are still unclear. Brazil’s first match will be against Morocco on June 12. Fans can celebrate with the new skins during the game.
