Fortnite players, listen up! You might be able to get some money back from unwanted purchases. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is sending out over $126 million in refunds. They are also reopening the claim process for those who missed the first round. Epic Games, the company behind Fortnite, had to pay a huge fine. The FTC accused them of using sneaky tricks to make players buy things they didn't want. This happened between 2017 and 2022. Epic Games agreed to pay $245 million to settle the case. The FTC already sent out over $72 million in refunds last December. Now, they are sending out nearly 970, 000 more checks and PayPal payments. If you are eligible and haven't claimed your refund yet, you have until July 9, 2025, to do so.

Fortnite is free to play, but it makes money from in-game purchases. These are things like costumes and dance moves. The FTC says Epic Games used deceptive design tricks.
