From Track Stars to Junk Removers: How Two George Mason Graduates Built a Thriving Business with a Heart for Giving

Bonding as members of the GMU track team, Weigel and Hankerson discovered their shared love for hands-on work that benefited the community. This desire led them to jobs at another junk removal company, where they realized the potential for improving customer service and donating to local charities. Junk Runners has since donated over $50,000 annually to local charities, and the company's philosophy of helping those making donations has set them apart from competitors. At a Jobber Summit, the duo learned about Jobber Grants, which they plan to use to expand their services and continue making a positive impact on their community.
