Fun Week at the OC Fair: Hours, Tickets and Shows

Orange County, California, Anaheim, USATuesday, July 28, 2026
The OC Fair opens from 11 a. m. to 11 p. m. on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. On Fridays and Saturdays it stays open until midnight. Admission costs $13 on weekdays and $18 on the weekend, but kids aged 6‑12 pay only $9 and seniors 65 or older get a $10 discount. Tickets must be bought online before you arrive; the fair limits each day to about 55, 000 visitors and popular days sell out fast. Parking costs $15. If you want to avoid traffic, use the OC Fair Express buses that run on weekends. They depart from several train stations around Orange County, including Anaheim, Fullerton and Irvine. The fare is $2 each way and schedules can be found on the fair’s website. Food lovers will enjoy live cooking demos every day at 1, 3 and 5 p. m. in the OC Promenade. After dark parties start at 7:30 p. m. on weekdays and 8:30 p. m. on weekends, featuring karaoke, country dancing, a DJ, swing and Latin nights. The All‑Alaskan Racing Pigs race every hour and a half from 2 p. m. to 8 p. m. , so arrive early for the best seats.
Wine enthusiasts can visit the Wine Courtyard where the Orange County Wine Society hosts tastings of award‑winning California wines. The society also holds special wine nights from 3 to 7 p. m. on Friday‑Sunday evenings; check the schedule online. Entertainment is packed in three venues that require a separate ticket but include fair admission. The Action Sports Arena hosts the Kicker Monster Truck Show every night from July 29 to August 2. The Hangar features tribute acts such as the Tom Petty Experience, Journey, Grateful Dead and Britney Spears. The Pacific Amphitheatre presents artists like Cypress Hill with Ozomatli, Trevor Noah, Nile Rodgers and Chic, The Fab Four, Nelly and Too $hort. These events offer a mix of music, food, racing and wine that will keep visitors entertained all week long.
