Fundraising Race: Who's Leading Against Mayor Adams?

Brad Lander, the New York City Comptroller, has raised the most campaign funds among the challengers to Mayor Adams in the latest reporting period. However, Mayor Adams' finance filings are missing, leaving many wondering about his campaign's status. Lander's team is excited about their $330,115 haul from 2,315 donors. This makes Lander the top fundraiser against Adams.

Former city comptroller Scott Stringer is also doing well, raising $193,044 from 1,364 donors. State Senators Zellnor Myrie and Jessica Ramos are also in the race, but they started later and have raised less so far. Adams, despite his legal troubles, still has a big cash advantage. He's been fundraising since he took office in 2022. It's unclear if other big names like former Governor Andrew Cuomo or Attorney General Letitia James will join the race.
