This situation, dubbed "abnormally low, " could make navigation tricky for boaters due to the shallow waters. The NWS issued a low water advisory on Friday morning, which will remain in effect until noon CST. Galveston Bay, located southeast of Houston, about a 53-minute drive away, is currently experiencing these conditions. Today in Houston, it's a sunny day with a gentle southeast wind around 5 mph in the afternoon. Clearing skies are expected at night with a similar wind speed. Temperatures will fluctuate between 56°F and 41°F. For tomorrow, there's a 20% chance of rain after 3 p. m. Showers are likely on Saturday night, possibly accompanied by thunderstorms after 3 a. m. The temperature range is projected to be between 61°F and 56°F.

Looking ahead, Sunday may bring showers and thunderstorms during the day, with likely showers at night. Monday seems partly cloudy with a 20% chance of showers during the day and a cloudy night. Tuesday has a 30% chance of showers primarily after noon. Wednesday brings a 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms during the day and a 30% chance at night.
