Saturday, February 8, 2025
Reeves' coaching career spanned nearly four decades. He was named Coach of the Year twice by the Associated Press.
Reeves reached the Super Bowl nine times during his career, including four as a head coach. He was also part of the Dallas Cowboys' Super Bowl XII victory as an assistant coach.
Reeves led the Atlanta Falcons to their first Super Bowl appearance in 1998, earning them the nickname "Dirty Birds. "
With 14 wins in the regular season, the 1998 Falcons had the most wins in a regular season for the franchise.
Let us not forget Stephon Gilmore, a cornerback who has been a Pro Bowl selection five times.
Gilmore is a two-time First-team All-Pro and the 2019 Defensive Player of the Year. He co-led the league in interceptions that same season and played a vital part in helping the New England Patriots during their Super Bowl LIII playoff run.
Gilmore's ability to play cornerback at a high level for over a decade is a testament to his legendary career.
Gilmore has recorded 617 tackles, 32 interceptions, seven forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, two defensive touchdowns, and 149 pass breakups.
Despite his impressive resume, he still has not been selected for the Hall of Fame.
