Gaming Phone with a Built-in Fan and a Battery That Lasts Forever
Launching on Dec. 26
Honor is set to launch its first gaming phone, the Honor Win, on Dec. 26. This isn't just any gaming phone—it comes with a built-in fan to keep it cool during intense gaming sessions. The fan is strategically placed right above the processor, ensuring efficient cooling.
Durability and Water Resistance
The Honor Win is built to last, boasting IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for water and dust resistance. This means it can survive being underwater for up to 30 minutes and can withstand high-temperature water jets.
Massive Battery with Smart Cooling
The phone features a 10,000-mAh battery, the largest ever tested in a phone. Despite its size, the phone remains lightweight, weighing less than the iPhone 17 Pro Max. A unique feature called "Charge Separation" helps reduce heat buildup during gaming and extends battery life.
Advanced Cooling Technology
Honor explains that as phone chips advance, better cooling solutions are needed. Traditional vapor cooling chambers, like those in the iPhone 17 Pro Max, are reaching their limits. The Honor Win's cooling system is inspired by computer cooling technology, making it more efficient.
Competing with the Best
The Honor Win will compete with other gaming phones like the Nubia RedMagic 11 Pro and the Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro. However, it stands out as the first gaming phone with a cooling fan that is also water and dust resistant. The RedMagic 11 Pro has a fan but lacks dust resistance due to its vents.
Built Like a Tank, Battery That Lasts Forever
The Honor Win is a durable, long-lasting gaming phone with a built-in fan to keep it cool. It launches on Dec. 26, but pricing and global availability are yet to be announced.
