Gauging Post-Concussion Symptoms in German Teens
GermanyMonday, December 23, 2024
The good news? The questionnaire was trustworthy, with scores over 0. 97 for reliability. It also grouped symptoms into four categories: physical, emotional, cognitive, and fatigue. These groups made sense and were similar for both regular teens and those with head injuries. The injured teens reported more symptoms, which is expected.
Now, doctors can use these benchmarks to compare scores and decide if symptoms are serious. This study was registered in the German Clinical Trials Register and the International Clinical Trials Registry Platform (ID DRKS00032854).
