Gaza's Aid Cut: Israel's New Move
GazaMonday, March 3, 2025
The initial six-week truce between Israel and Hamas ended on Saturday. It had its ups and downs, but it did lead to a temporary stop in fighting. During this time, 25 living Israeli hostages and the remains of eight dead ones were exchanged for about 1, 500 Palestinian prisoners and detainees. This deal also allowed more aid to enter Gaza. The next step in the agreement was for Israeli troops to fully withdraw from Gaza. In return, all remaining living hostages would be released. Reports from freed hostages say these people are being held in terrible conditions.
This new move by Israel could change everything. It could make the situation in Gaza even worse. The people there are already suffering. The halt on aid will only make things harder for them. It's important to think about the bigger picture. What will happen to the hostages? Will the truce hold? Only time will tell. But one thing is clear: the people of Gaza are in a tough spot. They need help, and they need it fast.
