Goodbye to Free Starbucks Bathrooms!

This change comes after years of allowing everyone to use their spaces, which started after a big problem in Philadelphia where two Black men were arrested for asking to use the restroom.

Besides bathroom rules, Starbucks is also trying new things to keep people inside their cafes. Starting soon, anyone can get a free coffee refill if they use a real cup or glass. Other new rules include no panhandling, discrimination, or smoking inside. All employees will be trained on these new rules. This change comes at a time when there are not enough public bathrooms in many places in the US. Starbucks, along with other big chains, has been filling this gap. But now, they are changing their mind, saying it is causing problems for their staff and customers.
