Google Docs' New Image Maker

Google Docs is getting a cool new feature called Gemini that lets you create images right within the app! If you’re a Google Workspace user, you can find it in the Insert menu. Just click on "Help me create an image, " choose your style like Photography or Sketch, and pick an aspect ratio. In a snap, you’ll have a unique image to spruce up your document. Need a restaurant menu or a marketing flyer? No problem! Google thinks this will help everyone, even those who aren’t artists, make content look amazing without scrolling through endless image searches.

The power behind Gemini is Imagen 3, which can make super realistic images of people, landscapes, and more. If you’re in pageless mode, you can even make a cover image that stretches across the whole document. This feature will be available over the next few weeks for paying Google Workspace customers with different plan types like Gemini Business or Google One AI Premium.
