Google's Quick Share App Now Available for Windows on ARM Devices
Tuesday, November 12, 2024
Until recently, Windows users with ARM devices struggled to download and use the app, as it required complex workarounds. Google has now resolved this issue, and the app is available for Windows 11 or later on ARM-based computers. It’s important to note that the app still uses emulation rather than being native ARM64. The app isn’t available yet for download on all ARM devices, like the Surface Laptop with Snapdragon X Elite, but Google is expected to release the proper download soon.
Users with Windows 10 or later should ensure they have a 64-bit version and that Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled on their PCs. Quick Share isn’t just for sharing files with your own devices; it simplifies the process of transferring data between multiple devices, making it a handy tool for many users.
