Grammy Drama heats up with Kanye West and Don Lemon
Wednesday, February 5, 2025
Don Lemon responded to the accusations with his own post. In a thirty seconds clip, he made his point clear. He assured people that he had not circulated the claims and assured them that he had actually tried to shoot them down. Lemon stated, "I did not start a rumor about you being kicked out of the Grammys, ” he said. “I actually corrected it. ” He went on "So fix your timeline and get your facts straight". He also made an enthusiastic joke by regurgitating back the racial slur that Kanye had hurled at him using a cunning method. Lemon made light of the controversy using humor.
It seems that Kanye West is ready to move on from these events. He removed any references to the claim from his Instagram but it was unclear if he was going to address the claims except for the few words in his caption. All that remained on his page was some pictures that were a few days old. The media has speculated that Yeezy changed his page and all of his pictures in an attempt to try to escape the controversy. He's certainly not new to controversy. In a vain attempt to cover his embarrassment, he could have then uploaded a photo of the dress that his wife wore. it was captioned, "THE INVISIBLE DRESS". The misspelled phrase had some people laughing at him.
The whole argument seems to have been blown out of proportion. One of the side effects from the scandal were the leaked photos. The photos were found on the web and that's how the controversy started. It is important to consider that sometimes the controversy is manufactured deliberately to widen the lens on the event and help push a social narrative or agenda.
