Pep Guardiola had a lot to say after his team Manchester City lost 5-1 to Arsenal.  He was very disappointed in how his team handled the game.  The team played well for a bit but then lost control.  Guardiola was particularly frustrated with how his team let the lead slip away.  "I'm not happy about the final 20 to 25 minutes. " Guardiola said. "We forgot to do what we should have done. "  He felt that the team had played well for most of the game.  But then they let their guard down and Arsenal took advantage.  This wasn't the first time this has happened.  Guardiola pointed out that this has been a problem all season.  Arsenal scored early in the second half.  Right after that City had a good run and got a goal.  But then things went downhill.  Guardiola said that the team got sloppy and didn't keep up the good work.  "They scored again and again and we didn't do what we needed to do. "  Guardiola pointed out that City had the ability to do better.  But they just couldn't hold on to the lead.  "We had the chance to score more goals but we just couldn't keep it together. "

        The team had a strong first half.  They had lots of possession of the ball.  But then things changed.  Arsenal just kept scoring.

        Guardiola's team needs to work on maintaining their performance for the entire game.  He knows that his team has the skills to do better.  But they need to stay focused for the whole 90 minutes.  Guardiola was frustrated because he knows his team can do better.  He's determined to help them improve.  "We need to work on staying in control.  We can't let this happen again. "  Guardiola said.

        The loss didn't help City's position in the top four.  They are now at risk of being overtaken by Chelsea.  Guardiola knows that his team needs to step up their game.  He's confident that they can do better next time.  "We know what we need to do.  We just need to do it, " Guardiola said.
