This Halloween week, we're in for some uncommonly warm weather. The humidity will also go up, making it feel a bit sticky. It's not all sunshine though—rain chances are increasing, and that might mess with your Halloween plans. Early Tuesday morning, there's a Dense Fog Advisory in the capital area. If you're out and about, be careful. Drive slowly, use your low beams, and give other cars plenty of space. The wind should keep the fog from getting too dense, but there might still be patches. Tonight and tomorrow, expect mostly clear skies at first. By dawn, some spots might see low clouds or fog. The temperature will dip to around 66°F overnight. Tuesday should be partly sunny with highs in the upper 80s. A light shower or sprinkle is possible, but most places will stay dry. Looking ahead, the warm, muggy weather will stick around. As a cold front approaches from the northwest, rain chances will go up. Wednesday could see some spotty showers. Halloween might be the wettest day, with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Trick-or-treaters should keep an eye out for rain, possibly with lightning. Temperatures will drop into the 70s by the evening. Isolated rain could linger into Friday, but the weekend looks quieter. Too bad, the cold front won't bring cooler temperatures just yet. Stay updated with the latest 7-day forecast and real-time weather updates right here. Watch live news here. In the tropics, a broad area of low pressure might develop in the southwestern Caribbean Sea in a few days. It could become a tropical depression by the end of the week as it drifts northward. No impacts are expected for Louisiana in the next week.
