Halo Makes a Big Move to PlayStation 5
Halo, a franchise that once dominated the gaming world, is making a monumental shift. It's coming to PlayStation 5 in 2026. This is a groundbreaking move, as Halo has always been an Xbox exclusive. Now, Microsoft is allowing Master Chief to step into PlayStation territory.
The Game: "Campaign Evolved"
The game in question is a remake of the first Halo game, "Combat Evolved." This remake, titled "Campaign Evolved," is not just for PlayStation 5. It's also coming to:

- Steam
Additionally, it will be available on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass from day one, with support for Xbox Cloud Gaming and Xbox Play Anywhere.
The Announcement
The announcement took place at the Halo World Championship on Friday, October 24. A trailer was shown, offering a glimpse of the new graphics, voice acting, and level design. Some attendees even got to try a demo of the game.
