Harrison, who underwent specialized training as a service dog from Precision Canine, is not your average therapy dog. With advanced training and over 50 commands, he supports both pediatric and adult patients across various departments including inpatient rehabilitation, behavioral health, pediatrics, the Bennett Cancer Center, and the emergency department. In just one year, Harrison has had over 15,000 interactions with patients and staff, showcasing the value that animals can bring to a healthcare community.
