Hersheypark Workers and Management Nearly Agree on New Deal
The Pennsylvania theme park is close to finalizing a new labor agreement.
After weeks of talks, the company and the union that represents many employees have reached a “tentative” understanding with help from a federal mediator.
The deal still needs approval from the union members, but both sides feel hopeful about moving forward.
Negotiations began after similar agreements were reached for Hershey’s other resorts, The Lodge and Country Club.
The discussions did not delay the park’s opening for summer; rides and attractions opened on schedule at the end of May.
Hershey Entertainment & Resorts thanked everyone involved for staying professional and dedicated during the talks, highlighting how important the union‑represented staff are to keeping guests happy and operations running smoothly.
The union has not yet responded to requests for comment, but the progress shows that both sides are willing to find common ground.
