Venice Indians vs. Riverview Rams
The Venice High School Indians displayed remarkable resilience in a thrilling semifinal game against the Riverview Rams. The Indians stormed out to a 27-9 lead in the first quarter, but the Rams fought back fiercely in the fourth, cutting the lead to just four points. The Indians held on to win 61-57.
- Sophomore Peter Palao led with 23 points.
- Junior Pierce Weber and senior Giulio contributed 13 and 10 points, respectively.
The Indians now face the Covington Catholic High School Colonels in the championship game. The Colonels, with a 9-1 record, dominated the Booker High School Tornadoes 92-55 in their semifinal.
- Junior Braeden Myrick led with 31 points, including four three-pointers.
- Senior Cash Harney and junior Athens McGillis scored 20 and 18 points, respectively.
