The volleyball courts were also busy with matches aplenty. Tech edged Brainerd in four sets while Alexandria swept Apollo 3-0. Moorhead defeated Sartell-St. Stephen 3-0 as Storm setter Kaylee Rademacher dished out 10 assists. Sauk Rapids-Rice topped Detroit Lakes 3-0 behind Lauren Schloe's eight kills and seven blocks. Cathedral rallied to beat Foley in five sets, with Ellie Voth leading the way for the Crusaders with 22 kills, 16 digs and six blocks. Albany continued its undefeated run, dispatching Pierz 3-0 as Ellery Ehresmann reached a career milestone of 1000 set assists.
On the links, Foley's girls tennis team topped Mora 5-2 behind singles wins from Addy Axtell, Emma Axtell and Lydia Anderson. The St. Cloud Crush swam to a pair of victories over Fergus Falls and Detroit Lakes, led by Paige Tarrolly and Olivia Erickson's two individual wins each.
In cross country action, Cathedral's boys placed third at the Holdingford Invite with Carson Rolph taking 5th overall. On the girls side, Cathedral won the meet with five runners in the top ten, led by Katelyn Waldoch (2nd), Cecilia Jamison (3rd) and Enya Scanlon (6th).
