Higher Education: A Bipartisan Fix?

Another big issue is the cost of college. Both parties are interested in student debt, but they have different ideas. Some graduate students borrow huge amounts and may not be able to repay them. A limit on student loans might help, but it should still let low-income students access higher education. The loan repayment system is also complex and could use some simplifying.
The Office of Federal Student Aid has been struggling. It needs more resources and better leadership to help students and borrowers. With both parties in control, now is the time to fix these problems and make a real difference in higher education.
