HoloLens: Microsoft Says Goodbye to Mix Reality Hardware

Microsoft's HoloLens was not able to become very popular. It had some trouble. For example, the head of the HoloLens project, Alex Kipman, left the company. Then there were rumors about a new headset to compete with Apple's Vision Pro, but those plans are no longer going to happen.

Microsoft had high hopes for the HoloLens. They thought it would be big in the mixed-reality market.
At the end of the day, Microsoft is moving on from HoloLens. So, their focus will be on cloud and AI technologies.
