House GOP: Closer to Trump Than Ever

The majority there is small, and many senators were elected before Trump's time. They have longer terms and may not be as quick to follow Trump's lead.

Trump's Cabinet picks are also making headlines. He's announced several high-profile positions, such as the State Department and Defense Department, much earlier than he did in his first term. This includes controversial figures like Matt Gaetz for the Justice Department and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for Health and Human Services. Some senators are skeptical of these choices, but no one has openly opposed them yet. The real test will be during the confirmation process. It's important to watch how this dynamic plays out.
