President Biden isn't faring much better in the public eye. His approval rating stands at 38%, according to the same poll. Some Democrats blame Biden for not stepping down earlier, allowing Trump another shot at the White House. In a recent podcast episode of "Pod Save America, " host Jon Favreau criticized Biden's reelection bid, calling it a "catastrophic mistake. " He accused those close to Biden of ignoring signs of his unpopularity. "They wouldn't admit that anyone could be upset about inflation. They kept telling us his presidency was historic and the economy was the best ever, " Favreau said. The poll was conducted between December 12 and 15, with 1, 031 participants. The results have a margin of error of 3 percentage points.
