It also looked at the role of environmental passion (EP) and face consciousness (FC). EP is the strong feeling one has for the environment. FC is the concern for how one is perceived by others. Researchers used a survey to gather data from hospital employees. They then used a method called structural equation modeling (SEM) to analyze the data.

The results showed that GAL has a big positive effect on PEB. EP was found to be a partial mediator. This means it partly explains the connection between GAL and PEB.
