For instance, feeling influenced had a bigger effect on how we rate foods, while guessing the experiment's goal didn't change our preferences much. Interestingly, reacting strongly against demands only mattered for well-known food brands. This study shows that our minds are always at work, shaping what we like and don't like to eat.
