Intersect Aspen: A Celebration of Art, Design, and Culture in the Rockies

Aspen, USASaturday, June 13, 2026
The annual art fair is coming back to Aspen this summer. It's a massive celebration of modern and contemporary creativity. From July 28th through August 1st, you can check out amazing works at the Ice Garden. \n\nThis event isn't just about looking at pretty paintings. It's where different worlds meet—artists, collectors, and people who care deeply about culture. This year is supposed to be huge. There are thirty-eight gallery shows planned! That’s a lot of art from local spots all the way across the globe. \n\nThink about it: global talent comes together in one place. You'll see works from galleries in Europe, Israel, and the U. S. It really shows how interconnected modern art is today. \n\nThe fair also shines a spotlight on incredible individuals. Two big names are receiving special recognition this year: photographer Paul Nicklen and collage artist Jay Kelly. Plus, other talented creators like Dean West and Paula Crown will be there showing their work.
You get to see the actual people making the art. \n\nBut it's more than just buying stuff. The program has some cool educational parts. There will be a guided tour of the Resnick Center for Herbert Bayer Studies. Plus, architect Leo Marmol is giving talks about design. They are also partnering with Aspen Film to screen a movie and then talk about it. \n\nPhotography gets extra attention this time around. It’s not just one section; it's woven throughout the entire fair. Artists use photos to explore big ideas—things like nature, identity, and human life. This might make you think differently about how images work. \n\nFinally, there is a good cause involved. A portion of the money made from certain art sales goes straight back into supporting the Aspen Community Foundation in the Roaring Fork Valley. It’s art that helps the community grow. Tickets for this big cultural event are ready to be bought now. \n\n
