She admitted knowing nothing about the industry at first but learned quickly after meeting director Nick Hamm.

Shumaker and others on the panel talked about their goals for investing in movies. They all agreed that not losing money is key. Shumaker added that they usually aim for a 20-25% return on investment (ROI).
