Is ChatGPT Search Ready to Take on Google?

It doesn’t have ads, which is great, but it takes a bit longer to respond and sometimes misses the mark. I tried it for a couple of days, and here’s what I found.

For currency exchange rates and weather, Google was quicker and more accurate. However, ChatGPT Search could still hold its own. When it came to tech updates and tax info, ChatGPT shone by delivering quick, detailed answers. For broader searches like eSIM plans, Google's traditional links were more reliable. Both have their strengths, but ChatGPT Search isn’t quite ready to replace Google just yet. It lacks real-time data and related search suggestions, and it’s not free. Still, it’s a promising tool for in-depth searches and could be a great secondary option.
