There's been a lot of talk lately about "Christian Nationalism" and how it's supposedly threatening American democracy. But let’s step back for a moment. Everyone has values, right? And Christians are no different—their values come from the Bible. Voting based on those values isn’t trying to force beliefs on others or create a theocracy; it’s just how our government works. In a democracy, the majority’s voice counts. Look at countries like Iran and Afghanistan for true examples of theocracies if you need a comparison.
Some people are quick to criticize Christian values, even though they might not believe in Christianity themselves. It's like telling Christians what to think without understanding their beliefs. The Constitution makes it tough to amend anything, so don’t worry about America turning into a theocracy anytime soon. At the end of the day, "Christian Nationalism" is just a term being thrown around to cause fear.
It's important to remember that having faith shouldn't make anyone a target for criticism or persecution. People should be free to vote based on their values without fear of backlash. After all, it’s part of what makes our democracy unique and strong.
